Olivia Ji Hyun Oh is a South-Korean born artist and illustrator who is currently attending Emily Carr University of Art and Design to receive her BFA in Illustrations. Oh is passionate about storytelling, and creating colourful and abstract images. Book illustrations and acrylic paintings are her area of speciality. However, she loves to up-cycle materials into fashionable and aesthetic handbags in her spare time.

Based in Vancouver, she finds inspiration in her environment and by her everyday life. Her current interests are the following; printmaking, bookmaking, poetry, ceramics, textiles, and black and white film photography. By design, her open-minded outlook on life translates into her whimsical and colourful style. Oh’s curiousities with tactile thinking and hands-on processes creates for a strong foundation to share her experiences and stories. She hopes to connect with her local community and with her viewers online going forth past graduation.
